Baby Girl’s First Trip to Busch Gardens

We finally made our first trip to Busch Gardens…with a 6 week old in tow!

No she wasn’t crying the whole time! It actually was a gorgeous mild day.  The weather was perfect for her and with a little shade cover, a few shows…we were good to go!

I wanted to take this picture to note the occasion.  Had to take a pic with the iconic Loch Ness Monster since one day she will be big enough to ride it…sniff, sniff!

The many nursing stations saved the day!  This was the nursing station was in the Sesame Street Forest of Fun, but there are nursing stations everywhere.  I was even surprised to see one in the restroom of the Fest Haus!  It was completely renovated with relaxing furniture.  These stations are a great place for you to rock and feed (nursing and/or bottle) your infant in a private and air-conditioned environment!

A big highlight of this trip was that we had the chance to ride their newest coaster-Tempesto!  Here are some videos I did to chronicle the occasion!

throwbackI was super excited to see so many throwback souvenirs for purchase in celebration of Busch Gardens’ 40 years of fun!  Who remembers this logo?

Can’t leave the park without playing the carni-games!  This turtle is adorbs!

Having an infant at the park, meant trying to watch all shows and staying indoors as much as possible.  I was so happy to see the new show ‘Roll Out the Barrel” at Das Fest Haus in Oktoberfest (Germany).  The stage set was amazing and the singing was superb!  I watched the show twice that day!

The girls also got Henna tattoos (right outside Land of the Dragons).

And finally, a slideshow of my favorite wannabe photographer shots of the day!

  1. Your baby girl is so precious! I remember when I first saw her newborn pic, she actually looked like one of my newborns. I think infants are easier to take around than my 4 year old. All they need is milk, otherwise they sleep all day. Looks like you guys had an amazing time at Busch Gardens!
